With an emphasis on durable and sustainable materials, Centennial Village will make use of emerging elements in building and design to support and enhance student learning and residential living. In following the University’s commitment to the environment and overall well-being, the village is planned to attain at minimum LEED Gold Certification.
Using the Association of College and Housing Officers-International’s (ACUHO-I) 21st Century Project as a guide, Centennial Village will reflect innovative approaches to four defining concepts: community, flexibility, sustainability, and technology.
